Tucked into the stunning boulder-strewn landscape of Western Hills, Petite Maison is a peaceful and design-forward desert cabin that feels both timeless and completely modern. Perched on 5 acres between Joshua Tree National Park and Pioneertown, it’s a secluded haven — yet still minutes to great food, trails, and culture.

Whether you're here for sunrise hikes, a romantic weekend, or simply to unplug, this little homestead delivers desert magic in every direction.

Guest access

During your stay at Petite Maison, you will have access to the following spaces on the property:

Living Room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen & Dining, Outdoor Space, BBQ grill and a propane fire pit, Free Parking.

Desert Wildlife and Landscape:
- Yucca Valley is situated in the Mojave Desert, known for its unique and diverse wildlife and stunning desert landscapes. While exploring the area, you may encounter wildlife such as desert tortoises, roadrunners, jackrabbits, and various species of birds. Remember to respect their natural habitats and observe them from a safe distance.

Dirt Road Access:
- Access to Petite Maison is via a well-maintained dirt road that spans approximately 0.5 miles. The road is regularly maintained to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey. Please note that while the road is well-maintained, it is still a dirt road, so driving at a moderate speed and being cautious of road conditions is advisable.

Desert Environment:
- Yucca Valley and its surrounding areas experience desert conditions, which means hot and dry summers and cooler winters. It's recommended to pack sunscreen, hats, and light clothing during the summer months, and bring layers for cooler evenings in the winter. Staying hydrated is essential, especially when venturing out into the desert for activities like hiking or exploring Joshua Tree National Park.
